I have kept them on his hoo ves for almost 48 hours since I don't go to the barn every day. Now I prefer to use them to keep his feet clean and even though they are not waterproof, there is still enough protection/height at the base of the boot to keep his hooves fairly clean/dry when he steps into puddles. The reason was that the Clouds seemed to be just as durable and have been more popular due to pricing and cooler. Comments: I purchased Cloud boots, instead of Stratus model after speaking to Easy Care about them being discontinued.
